Strand Platter Small — Wildflowers

Nature is always changing its palette. The hills above the Hudson Valley in early summer, the coastal light at Busan at dusk, the mountainsides of Korea between seasons — color shows up differently depending on where you are and when. These pieces are an attempt to hold some of that.

Each Strand is made using the nerikomi technique — colored stoneware clays are layered, pressed, cut, and reassembled so the pattern runs through the entire body of the piece, not just the surface. No two are alike.

The Wildflowers palette draws on soft blues, sage greens, warm neutrals, and pops of lavender in a meadow mid-bloom. The Strand is a hand-formed stoneware serving platter with a long, organic shape and a soft, irregular edge. It doesn't ask to be just one thing — set it down the center of the table for charcuterie and bread, let it hold a stick of incense and catch the ash, or set it on a dresser for jewelry, makeup, and the small daily clutter that needs a place to land.

Small: 10" x 4.5" x 1.5" Food safe. Microwave safe. Handwash recommended.

We currently ship within the United States only.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order weight.

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days. Each piece is packed carefully by hand to ensure it arrives safely. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped.

Estimated delivery time after shipping is 4–7 business days via USPS Ground Advantage.

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers once a package has been handed off. If your package is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date at hello@flintandmarble.com and we will work to make it right.
