The River Rock tray is a hand-formed stoneware serving piece designed to feel grounded and stable in use. Defined by its broad, organic footprint and low profile, the form feels calm and substantial, encouraging shared placement across the table.

Built using layered colored clay, each piece carries quiet movement and variation across the surface, shaped by hand rather than constrained to symmetry.

The upper surface is finished with a clear glaze to enhance depth and color, while the underside is left unglazed and sanded to 800 grit, creating a smooth, natural feel where the piece meets the table and the hand.

Each River Rock is one of a kind. Variations in pattern, line, and color are inherent to the process and are embraced as part of the work.
